Spring Break Gymnastics Camp at Weber Center

Looking for something fun and active for your child during Spring Break?

Join us at the Taiga Gymnastics Camp, held at the Skokie Weber Center on March 30 & 31 and April 1, 2 and 3 (Monday - Friday).
This half-day camp (12:30–3:30 pm) is the perfect way for kids to move, play, and learn new skills while school is out.

This mini camp gives children the chance to explore gymnastics in a supportive and playful setting. Each session includes a balance of warm-up games, strength and mobility work, focused skill practice, speed and agility activities, apparatus work, and a calm cool-down. The goal is that every child gets to try new things, repeat skills, and leave with a sense of progress and confidence.

Camp Program

Each day of camp blends structure with variety. Children will enjoy:

  • Games & Warm-Up – fun activities to energize the group and prepare the body.

  • Strength & Mobility – balance, flexibility, and core exercises.

  • Skill Practice – exploring gymnastics elements such as balances, jumps, and acrobatics.

  • Snack Break – time to recharge.

  • Speed & Agility – reaction games and movement challenges.

  • Apparatus Work – rhythmic gymnastics equipment like ball, hoop, ribbon, or jump rope.

  • Cool-Down & Closing – stretching and a creative movement activity to finish the day.

Our camp is designed so that each day follows a familiar rhythm, while the skill themes and activities change to keep things fresh. One day may emphasize body movements and balances, another day jumps or agility. Kids get the comfort of structure with the excitement of new challenges

Who It’s For

Children ages 6–12 who are curious about gymnastics, dance, or movement. No prior experience is needed—just a willingness to try, play, and move

About Taiga Gymnastics

Taiga Gymnastics is a child-centered club offering recreational and aesthetic group gymnastics (AGG) for kids. Our mission is to help children build strength, confidence, and coordination through joyful, natural movement. As the first AGG club in Illinois, we bring a fresh and inclusive approach to gymnastics—focusing on elegance, control, and fun rather than flips or high-impact tricks.
